Our SFBACC conference call meeting is today from 1:00 - 2:30. All  
interested are welcome, as this is a re-grouping meeting and we'll  
talk rather broadly.

Agenda:

1) Progress and next steps on the Project metadata work
Reminder notes:
The goals of our Project data networking effort are to alleviate the  
redundancy of the multiple Project databases by creating one big pool  
of Project metadata that we all use for all our various purposes, and  
to allow for entry of Project metadata once for all databases,  
especially NRPI. Last time we decided we need a registry to deal with  
the issues surrounding duplicated project records. There was  
discussion that CERES is willing to create the needed registry. Today  
we'll hear what is being worked on in that area and about the goal of  
having CalEDLN records make their way into NRPI.

2) Sharing and networking other data
	- Other metadata standards needed
	- Can we have a networked GIS?! Possibilities for technology and  
funding.

3) Grant-writing
	- Deanne working with Jim Quinn and Tom Moritz on one for core funding
	- Can we find other opportunities? Shall we have a proposal  
development meeting?
